Google is now labeling some Reddit posts as ‘Expert Advice’

Google is adding Reddit and other forum and social discussions into Search AI responses, including AI Mode and AI Overviews, under labels like Expert Advice, Perspectives, and Community Experiences.

The update also adds follow-up exploration suggestions, link preview pop-ups, clearer source links, and highlighted links from subscribed news sources.

The change could make Search more useful for practical opinions and community knowledge, but it also raises trust and accuracy concerns for sensitive topics.
