Your Android phone can now share files with any iPhone using a Quick Share QR code

Google is rolling out a QR code-based Quick Share flow that lets Android phones share files with iPhones via cloud upload and scan-to-download.

The feature will reach all Android devices within a month, expanding access beyond phones with built-in AirDrop-compatible hardware.

Google is also extending native Quick Share-AirDrop support to more brands, including OPPO, OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi, and HONOR.

The update removes a long-standing barrier in cross-platform file sharing between Android and iPhone.
