PowerVR GPUs gain DirectX support as Imagination eyes PC market comeback

Imagination Technologies added DirectX support to PowerVR GPUs company presentation and video showed hardware running DirectX.

D-Series introduced hardware-based DirectX support in the D-Series company said it began adding DirectX support with its last generation, D-Series.

DXD unveiled the DXD GPU IP line in 2023, dXD is described as built for desktop, laptop, and cloud DirectX environments.

B-Series first released the B-Series IP in 2020, b-Series served as the GPU foundation for some Chinese graphics cards.

Apple partnership ran from 2007 to 2017, powerVR designs were used by Apple during that period.
