Mac’s “Personal Computer” Launches: Perplexity’s AI Agent

Perplexity has begun rolling out 'Personal Computer,' an AI agent for Mac that works across apps, files, and the web.

The feature is being released gradually to Perplexity Max users on macOS 14 Sonoma and later.

It also supports always-on setups like Mac mini, as well as starting or pausing tasks from another device.

The launch could expand AI-assisted automation for email, file management, and everyday work on Mac.
