Truck-mounted 40 mm anti-aircraft gun that can down missiles, drones to be delivered to Sweden

BAE Systems will deliver truck-mounted TRIDON Mk2 40 mm anti-aircraft guns to Sweden.

TRIDON Mk2 is a self-propelled, remotely controlled 40 mm system with multi-target capability.

The system can engage drones, cruise missiles, aircraft and selected ground targets, with an effective range up to 12 km.

FMV procured TRIDON Mk2 units for Sweden and Denmark in February to donate to Ukraine as part of an air-defense package.
