Overwatch heroes come to Fortnite in new map-changing event

Epic Games and Blizzard are bringing Overwatch to Fortnite with D.Va, Genji, Mercy, and Tracer joining the game on May 14.

The crossover looks set to add themed cosmetics like skins, back blings, pickaxes, emotes, a glider, and a wrap.

A tease of King's Row's clocktower suggests the Fortnite island may also get new map elements or event content.

The event expands both games' live-service crossover appeal by mixing iconic Overwatch heroes into Fortnite's world.
