New CS2 update brings back CSGO's silky smooth camera shake

Valve released a small Counter-Strike 2 patch that makes recoil-related camera motion smoother and closer to CS:GO.

The change reduces screen shake, addressing one of the most criticized visual issues in CS2 without altering bullet behavior.

The update also fixes animation bugs, ladder movement issues, and a halftime transition crash.
