Starlink WiFi coming to 500+ American Airlines planes

American Airlines will equip 500 aircraft with Starlink satellite WiFi, starting with narrow-body jets in early 2027.

The airline says the service will deliver faster, more reliable internet for email, streaming, gaming, and work.

The move strengthens Starlink’s push into aviation connectivity and adds pressure on rivals like Viasat and Intelsat.

It could significantly improve in-flight internet for hundreds of American Airlines flights.
