Jaeger adopts OpenTelemetry at its core to solve the AI agent observability gap

Jaeger v2 rebuilds its core on OpenTelemetry Collector and OTLP for a more unified tracing pipeline.

It is also adding MCP, ACP, and AG-UI support to better observe AI agents and agentic workflows.

The goal is to turn natural-language debugging requests into trace queries and make AI observability easier.

This aims to close the visibility gap for generative AI by speeding ingestion and simplifying human-agent debugging.
