Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 firmware leak signals launch is right around the corner

Firmware for a device labeled SM-L345U has appeared on a U.S. test server, indicating development for the Galaxy Watch 9 is complete.

Leaks show the 44mm Galaxy Watch 9 model will use a 435mAh battery, the same capacity as the Watch 8.

Reports indicate the watch may use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite (3nm) chip, which could improve efficiency.

A formal reveal is expected at a Galaxy Unpacked event in July, following Samsung’s previous release pattern.
