Framework founder Nirav Patel warned that surging AI infrastructure demand is consuming chips, storage, CPUs, and power at scale, worsening shortages for consumer hardware.

He said the pressure is benefiting cloud computing while threatening to push personal computing aside through tighter supply and higher prices.
