Google Play services update brings seamless wrist payments and a revamped storefront feed

Google rolled out Play services v26.29 and Play Store v52.5 with usability upgrades across Android.

The update improves Google Wallet setup on Pixel Watch, renames connected apps to linked apps, and adds new Maps and Wear OS APIs.

Play Games dashboard refinements, comic previews in Play Shorts, and better travel app suggestions via Engage SDK also land in this release.

These changes bring smoother payments, gaming, and app discovery without requiring a full OS upgrade.
