Today is the regular monthly “Windows Update” day, with 120 vulnerabilities fixed and extended security updates for Windows 11 as well as Windows 10

Microsoft released its May 2026 Patch Tuesday updates, fixing 120 vulnerabilities across Windows, Office, servers, and related products.

The batch includes eight critical and four important fixes, covering risks such as remote code execution and privilege escalation.

A Windows 10 extended security update was also issued to address additional security and reliability issues.

Organizations using Microsoft systems should prioritize deployment because the updates affect widely used products and high-severity flaws.
