Your Blu-ray drive can now rip GameCube, Wii, and Xbox games — legally

OmniDrive has exited beta and now supports MediaTek MT1959-based drives.

Compatible PC optical drives can read and copy proprietary discs from systems like GameCube, Wii, and original Xbox.

The firmware can create raw or playable backups, but compatibility depends on the specific drive model.

Some newer console discs remain encrypted, so support is not universal.
