Nvidia fixes the 8GB RAM problem with one of its GPUs—if you can pay for it

Nvidia says the mobile GeForce RTX 5070 will ship with 12GB of GDDR7, up from 8GB.

The laptop GPU keeps the same GB206 chip, 128-bit memory bus, and 4,608 CUDA cores.

More VRAM could help with newer games and local AI tasks by easing memory bottlenecks.

The desktop RTX 5070 is unchanged and remains the more powerful version.
