Waymo Admits Its Robotaxis Have a Small Issue With Driving Into Floodwaters

Waymo is recalling 3,791 robotaxis after a vehicle drove into floodwater in San Antonio and was swept into Salado Creek.

The company said some vehicles may fail to stop for flooded lanes on higher-speed roads until a software fix is ready.

Waymo is temporarily restricting access to flood-prone roadways while it updates its autonomous driving system.
