Introducing Precursor: detecting agentic behavior with continuous client-side signals

Cloudflare has launched Precursor, an optional Enterprise Bot Management feature.

Precursor injects JavaScript into a session to continuously collect client-side behavioral signals.

Those signals feed real-time bot detection across the full user journey, not just a single checkpoint.

The goal is to close visibility gaps left by point-in-time challenges like Turnstile and reduce friction for legitimate users.
