Google Introduces Gemini 3.5 Flash at I/O 2026: A Faster and Cheaper Model for AI Agents and Coding

Google launched Gemini 3.5 Flash at I/O 2026, the first model in its 3.5 line.

The model beats Gemini 3.1 Pro on benchmarks while offering lower pricing, faster output, and a large multimodal context window.

Google also introduced Managed Agents and expanded Antigravity to help build, run, and deploy agentic workflows.

Enterprise customers including Shopify, Macquarie Bank, Salesforce, Ramp, Xero, and Databricks are already using the model in production.
