Google wants AI defense to be as fast as AI offense

Google Cloud unveiled three preview AI security agents for threat hunting, detection engineering, and third-party context, adding to an existing triage agent that can cut analysis from about 30 minutes to roughly 60 seconds.

The company framed its planned Wiz acquisition as part of a broader, longer-term defense strategy against AI-enabled attacks that can move from vulnerability discovery to exploitation very quickly.

Wiz also launched new AI app protection features and wider integrations, including scanning inside Lovable and support across major cloud and AI platforms like Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
