Sega confirms it’s still working on its numerous reboots of classic IPs despite cancelling its Super Game

Sega says its planned classic IP reboots are still in development, even after cancelling its broader Super Game initiative.

Only Shinobi has launched so far; the other revival projects remain on Sega’s roadmap.

Titles still slated for release in FY ending March 2027 or later include Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Crazy Taxi, Virtua Fighter, and Alien Isolation.

The update shows the Super Game cancellation does not affect Sega’s long-term franchise reboot pipeline.
