Winners of the Radio Regulation Improvement Contest Finalized... Speeding Up Resolution of On-site Difficulties

The Ministry of Science and ICT selected 5 winning ideas from 330 submissions to its radio regulation improvement contest.

Follow-up review will consider easing rules for experimental stations, unlicensed devices, and certification procedures.

The goal is to remove field bottlenecks and speed up testing and commercialization in the radio sector.

Proposals also include simplifying KC certification and improving use cases for technologies such as Bluetooth and collision-avoidance radar.
