ByteDance released Seed3D 2.0, a new 3D foundation model, and made its technical report and API publicly available.

The company says blind human evaluations show Seed3D 2.0 beats competing models in geometry reconstruction and textured rendering.

The model is designed to improve 3D asset creation with more accurate shapes, realistic materials, and stronger PBR-style output.
