God of War Laufey Stars The Wife Of Kratos And A Jelly Cube

PlayStation Studios has revealed a new God of War game centered on Faye, also known as Laufey, rather than Kratos.

About 20 minutes of early gameplay showed Faye awakening after her funeral, entering the Everywhen, fighting new enemies, and using a magical weapon named Rue.

The story appears to run alongside the Norse-era God of War games, expanding the series with a parallel lead character.

No firm release date was announced, but the project is not expected before 2027.
