Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 announced to compete with future iPhone Fold

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8 at Galaxy Unpacked in London, alongside the Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8.

The new foldable adopts a wider 4:3 design, with a 7.6-inch inner display, 120Hz screens, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a 4,800mAh battery.

It is lighter at 201g, starts at $1,899.99, and is available for preorder now.

Samsung is using the new design and pricing to strengthen its position ahead of Apple’s expected foldable entry.
