ASUS ROG X870E APEX Flexes With DDR5-8800 CL32 OC On AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 CPU

ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX demonstrates DDR5 overclocking with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition.

The testbed used the Crosshair X870E APEX, Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, and 32 GB of G.Skill DDR5 (F5-6000J2636G16G Trident Z5 NEO, rated 6000 MT/s CL26).

Testing was performed on air cooling with the motherboard running AGESA 1.3.0.1 BIOS (2201 BETA).

The platform achieved a DDR5-8800 overclock using CL32 timings.

DDR5-8800 represents a 46.6% memory-clock increase over the 6000 MT/s baseline.
