Bangmi Communications Commission selects 15 organizations to recommend directors for public broadcasters

The Broadcasting and Media Communications Commission has finalized 15 organizations to recommend directors for KBS, the Broadcasting Culture Promotion Foundation, and EBS.

The 15 groups were selected through a plenary meeting and review process, with five organizations assigned to each broadcaster.

The selected groups will recommend director candidates by June 26.

The move is expected to affect board composition and the editorial and management independence of Korea’s public broadcasters.
