Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was reportedly in development from CD Projekt Red, but its future is uncertain

A report says CD Projekt Red may have had WayForward working on an unannounced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners game codenamed Gemini.

The project was described as a rollback-style 2.5D brawler set in the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners universe, according to a former developer portfolio.

However, later signs that WayForward had a halted unnamed project and then laid off staff cast doubt on whether Gemini is still active.

CD Projekt Red and WayForward have both been contacted for comment.
