Bose takes a swing at Sonos with its new home speakers

Bose unveiled a new home audio lineup aimed at challenging Sonos, led by the $299 Lifestyle Ultra speaker.

The lineup also includes a $1,099 soundbar and an $899 subwoofer.

The Lifestyle Ultra supports Wi‑Fi streaming via AirPlay, Google Cast, and Spotify Connect, and can group with some non-Bose speakers.

It launches without room correction or Auracast activation at release, but its broader compatibility may appeal to users who want more openness than a locked ecosystem.
