UAE-based GPU Solutions is advertising a service that physically upgrades VRAM on older graphics cards.

In one demo, an RTX 2080 Ti was expanded from 11GB to 22GB using micro-soldering plus VBIOS or board-level adjustments.

The company says it offers pickup and delivery in the UAE, turnaround of about 12 days, and a 90-day warranty.

The service could help older GPUs last longer for AAA gaming and some AI or LLM workloads when high-memory new cards are expensive.

But compatibility, driver support, and the risk of a failed hardware mod remain major concerns.
