Milla Jovovich is tied to MemPalace, an open-source project on GitHub under an MIT license.

MemPalace scored 96.6% on LongMemEval R@5 raw mode with zero API calls.

The open source community has started contributing improvements to the code.

Jovovich said the idea drew on Ancient Greek memory methods and experts who can recall up to 70,000 digits of pi.

She wants AI to remember in a more organic way through a Memory Palace; MemPalace organizes conversations into wings, halls, and rooms, and Ben Sigman built the virtual version.
