New Crimson Desert update adds new difficulty options and, most importantly, a pet bird

Pearl Abyss has rolled out Crimson Desert update 1.04.00 with major gameplay and quality-of-life additions.

The patch adds Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty options, plus new skills for Kliff and other main characters.

Players also get housing and storage upgrades, UI and controller improvements, and broader accessibility tweaks.

A standout addition lets players befriend birds through the Sotdae of Bond, creating a new companion system in Pywel.
