Motorola Suddenly Raises Moto G Series Prices Right After New Model Launch

Motorola raised U.S. launch prices for several Moto G (2026) phones just after unveiling the $499 Moto G Stylus.

Moto G Play jumped from $179 to $249, Moto G from $199 to $299, and Moto G Power from $299 to $399.

Motorola has not explained the pricing changes.

The hikes could weaken Motorola’s budget-phone appeal and point to wider smartphone cost pressure from rising component prices.
