Google Maps on Android Auto now shows bigger labels on streets along your route [Gallery]

Google Maps on Android Auto is rolling out larger, easier-to-read street labels during navigation.

Roads on the active route now appear in a blue-and-white style, while nearby roads show gray labels.

The change is meant to improve route guidance visibility for drivers at a glance.

The update is limited to active navigation and is tied to Google Maps v26.17.03 and Android Auto 16.7.661604.
