As AI content floods the internet, Pangram raises $9M to detect it

Pangram, a New York AI detection startup, raised $9 million in a round led by Menlo Ventures.

The company also launched Pangram 4 and a preview AI image detector.

Pangram says its new text model is over 99% accurate at detecting AI-assisted and mixed human-AI writing.

The tools are aimed at spotting synthetic content across web, academic, and professional use cases as demand for verification grows.
