YouTube Premium's US pricing is going up

YouTube has emailed U.S. subscribers that Premium, Family, Lite, and Music Premium plans will get pricier.

The individual Premium plan rises from $14 to $16 per month, and the Family plan from $23 to $27.

Lite increases from $8 to $9, while Music Premium goes from $11 to $12.

The new pricing starts with the June 2026 billing cycle.

The move makes YouTube’s ad-free and music tiers more expensive amid a broader wave of streaming price hikes.
