A Piece Of Lost Spyro The Dragon History Was Found In An Oregon Gas Station

A fan traced a long-missing Spyro the Dragon promotional statue to a boarded-up gas station in St. Helens, Oregon.

The statue had originally appeared at Sony’s E3 2000 booth before passing through several Oregon locations and then being forgotten.

After identifying the property owner, the fan learned the statue had been left there and arranged to recover it.

The find preserves a rare piece of early PlayStation history and highlights the power of fan-led preservation.
