Robot startup sued over allegedly testing a household robot in a short-term rental and wrecking the house

An Airbnb host in San Francisco sued The Bot Company, alleging his rental was secretly used to test a household robot.

The host says the property was booked under false pretenses and that the test caused damage to furniture, fixtures, and other items.

He is seeking about $12,383 in compensation.
