Intel’s First MacBook Neo-Rivaling Laptops Arrive Next Week, Wildcat Lake With Mainstream Prices

JD.com has listed upcoming Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” laptops from Honor and ASUS, with preorder deadlines in mid-May and retail availability possibly starting next week.

Wildcat Lake uses a trimmed-down Panther Lake-style design with up to 6 CPU cores, Xe3 graphics, and 40 TOPS of AI performance.

The laptops are aimed at mainstream productivity use, running in the 15W to 35W range.

This is Intel’s first wave of cost-focused AI PCs built on Wildcat Lake, meant to bring Copilot+ class features to lower-priced Windows laptops.
