Alleged Warframe data breach "confirmed false" by Digital Extremes

Digital Extremes investigated an alleged Warframe data breach and found the claim to be false.

The studio said the posted dataset was repackaged data from a 2014 breach that affected about 800,000 accounts.

Digital Extremes advised users to use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication.

Operation: Atramentum launched by April 2 and will run until April 23; its delay was unrelated to the investigation.
