Testing PC games using FEX on a high-end Android tablet can yield playable results — but the early tech is still not ready for prime time

A high-end Android tablet was tested running Steam PC games through FEX and Proton.

FEX translated x86 code to ARM64 while Proton handled Windows compatibility, enabling some games to launch.

AAA titles including Cyberpunk 2077, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Resident Evil 3 were part of the test.

Some games were playable, but the stack is still unfinished and unstable for everyday use.
