May's big Rust update adds new, rare workbench upgrades, if you can find them

Facepunch released Rust’s May “Upgrade Hard, Raid Harder” update with a focus on progression, defense, and trading.

The patch adds nine rare workbench upgrades, mortars, new binoculars, alarm changes, and a refreshed vending machine UI.

It also adjusts naval and Deep Sea loot systems, including changes to the Floating City boat vendor and the Deep Sea zone.

A new Discord shop rounds out the update, while the rare upgrades could significantly affect base-building and combat strategy.
