God Of War: Laufey Release Date and Kratos' Future

Sony Santa Monica has announced the new mainline PS5 game God of War: Laufey, set for February 16, 2027.

This entry will spotlight Faye as the playable lead, shifting the series perspective in a major way.

The studio also confirmed a separate Kratos-led sequel that will continue directly from Laufey's storyline.

In short, fans are getting both a Faye-focused chapter and a future return for Kratos.
