The Witcher 3 Officially Leaving Millions of Players Behind in 2027

CD Projekt Red has stopped testing The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 on Windows 10.

Future updates will require Windows 11, effectively ending support for the older OS.

The Witcher 3 is still expected to get an update for its 2027 expansion, which could block Windows 10 users.

That leaves a large group of PC players at risk of losing guaranteed compatibility with future content.
