STALKER 2 Confirms Launch Date for Cost of Hope Story Expansion and Major 2.0 Update

GSC Game World says STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s Cost of Hope story expansion and free 2.0 update will launch on August 20, 2026.

The paid DLC adds new story content, locations, weapons, and enemies.

The free 2.0 patch upgrades the game to a newer Unreal Engine 5 build.

The expansion is included with the Ultimate Edition and Season Pass, and the game is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
