World of Warcraft reveals secret phase of new raid boss to give us the best moment in Race to World First

Blizzard hid a secret fourth phase in L'ura's raid fight, surprising competing guilds during the Race to World First.

Teams celebrated after downing Phase 3, but the encounter continued because an achievement did not trigger.

Wowhead reported that L'ura's Heaven's Glaives attacks were slowed by about 20% and given a clearer animation.

Team Liquid has tried Phase 4 roughly 450 times and reduced the boss to 44% health at best, while Echo has not passed 65%.

Blizzard also reduced the power of one of L'ura's abilities to give players a better chance.
