GM is pushing Google Gemini AI to 4 million vehicles via OTA updates

GM will roll out Google Gemini to about 4 million U.S. vehicles with Google built-in via over-the-air updates.

The update will replace Google Assistant in model-year 2022 and newer Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles.

GM is also highlighting scale in driver assistance, saying Super Cruise has reached 1 billion hands-free driving miles.

The move underscores how quickly automakers are making AI a core part of the in-car experience.
