Windows 11 is finally addressing key annoyances with the universal Search system

Microsoft is adding Search by Substring to Windows 11 Insider Preview builds.

Windows Search can now find files and content when users type any part of a name or term.

The update is rolling out in the Experimental and Beta channels, along with some Start menu changes.

The feature should make Windows Search more forgiving and easier to use when you only remember part of a filename or phrase.
