LG will release the first 1000Hz 1080p gaming monitor this year

LG announced the UltraGear 25G590B, the first revealed monitor with a native 1000Hz refresh rate at 1920 x 1080.

The 24.5-inch IPS gaming display adds AI-assisted features like AI Scene Optimization and AI Sound.

LG says the monitor is planned for release in the second half of 2026.

The ultra-high refresh rate could set a new benchmark for competitive and eSports players seeking maximum responsiveness.
