Samsung's new Hearapy app can mitigate motion sickness using most earbuds

Samsung released Hearapy, a free Android app on Google Play that plays a 100Hz bass tone to reduce motion sickness.

Samsung and Nagoya University recommend listening to the 100Hz tone for 60 seconds at about 80–85 dB to cover a two-hour trip.

The app can play the tone for up to 120 seconds and reportedly works with most earbuds and headphones, not only Galaxy Buds.

Samsung cites Nagoya University experiments as the research basis for the tone and volume recommendations.
