Alienware Announces Area-51 Desktops With AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2

Alienware announced an Area-51 desktop configuration using AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 processor.

The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is a 16-core/32-thread Zen 5 chip with a dual X3D design and 208 MB total cache.

Dell said the Area-51 with the new processor will reach retail on April 22, 2026.

Expected flagship hardware includes options up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and 64 GB DDR5 RAM, though final specs and price were not announced.
